Document deals with some irregularities under the act of Congress of the 19th of February, 1815, authorizing relief for "certain inhabitants of New Madrid county" in the then Territory of Missouri. The irregularities being fraudulent land claims under the relief act. It specifies the claims made by Elisha Jackson, of Bayou St. John and St. Thomas, Jacob Bogard, Peter LaForge, John Lavallu, George Tenelle and persons named Evans or Ogden. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
