Light shelf wear to tips, corners, and edges of the book; previous owner's bookplate and label to the front endpaper, notation to the rear endpaper, else clean and unmarked. Map in front pocket. Printed by P. Haase & Son, Copenhagen. The Bible was translated into Danish in 1524 under the authority of King Christian II. The translation was modeled on Luther's German translation of the Bible. This Danish Bible uses the 1931 Old Testament and the 1948 New Testament. Every effort is made to ship all books and other items within 24 hours.
