The cook book is complete in the sense that it combines the book Tante Marie's French Kitchen (1949) and Tante Marie's French Pastry (1954.) Based on ‘La Varitable Cuisine de Famille’, the 1925 French culinary bible by Ann-Marie Taride, Tante Marie being her pseudonym.
