Richard Anderson Falk (born November 13, 1930) is now an American professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University. At the time this book was published Falk was the Albert G. Milbank Professor of International Law and Practice, a position he currently retains as Emeritus professor. He is the author or co-author of 20 books and the editor or co-editor of another 20 volumes. For many years he has been the subject of controversy due to his views regarding the Palestinians about whom he is the United Nations Special Rapporteur.
