Lightest wear to the book, small spot to front endpaper, else clean and unmarked, no dust jacket as issued. Looks to be unread. Brown and gilt decorated imitation leather, all edges gilt, sewn in ribbon. Edward the Second; Hamlet; Macbeth; King Lear; The Tempest. With an introduction and notes to each play. In the introduction to The Tempest Eliot (presumably) calls the volume "the crown of the world's dramatic literature." This selection was originally the forty-sixth volume in Dr. Eliot's Five Foot Shelf, the precursor to the Harvard Classics series. Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
