spotting to page edges, front cover slightly curved; wear to jacket tips, edges and corners, soiled and rubbed, spine sunned. Introduction by Tom Wicker. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hard Cover. First printing, full number line. Collection of columns from the New Republic's Nixon Watch column. In his obituary Osborne's editor at the New Republic remembered him as "the best and sometimes the only way to make sense of what was going on in the White House was to wait for John Osborne's column in the New Republic. Mr. Osborne was a scrupulous, fair and painstaking reporter, a fine writer and an admirable, generous man." In spite of those qualities, or perhaps because of them, Osborne managed to make Nixon's infamous "Enemies List." Books and other items ship promptly with a tracking number and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
